WarnMe Test Wednesday, Safety Month in May

UC Davis will test its WarnMe emergency notification system at noon Wednesday (April 24), sending alerts to all faculty, staff and students on the Davis and Sacramento campuses, and at the Bodega Marina Laboratory and Tahoe Environmental Research Center.

Students and employees receive alerts through their campus email automatically, without registering, and can add up to four other contacts:  email addresses and phone numbers (including cellphones). You can make additions on the WarnMe website (click on “Edit my WarnMe information now!”).

WarnMe administrators recommend verifying and-or updating your contact information before the test and at other times during the year; use the same link: “Edit my WarnMe information now!”

Parents, vendors, contractors and others can sign up to receive text notifications for the Davis campus by texting UCDALERTS to 67283.

This week’s test is the second of three WarnMe tests conducted annually; the final test of 2019 is scheduled for October.
