The public is invited to a Nov. 4 workshop to review and comment on UC Davis' proposed Long Range Development Plan and to offer suggestions regarding issues to be analyzed within its environmental impact report.
Exhibits and information about draft growth plans will be available for public viewing from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Freeborn Hall. Campus staff and consultants will also be on hand to answer questions.

UC Davis is entering the final year of a three-year effort to update its Long Range Development Plan -- a campus land-use plan for accommodating many new students, faculty, staff and facilities in the coming years. Draft plans available Nov. 4 address the growth challenges, issues and concerns identified by campus committees and community workshops during the past two years of the update process.
The Nov. 4 "scoping" workshop and the LRDP's environmental impact report will also address specific proposals for the university neighborhood master plan, research park master plan, multi-use stadium and habitat conservation plan.
An initial study that describes issues that may be analyzed in an environmental impact report is available in local libraries and on the Web at .
Parking for the workshop is available in Lot 17 on California Avenue, south of Russell Boulevard.
