Jan. 26, Wednesday -- News media are invited to a press lunch with Isabella Dartigues, director of the Wine MBA program at the Bordeaux Business School, and Robert Smiley, professor at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. Dartigues will discuss "The Partnership Between the Wine MBA and Wine Intelligence Ltd., a Leading Wine Marketing Consulting Company: Bridging the Gap Between Academia and the Wine Industry," and distance learning in the Wine MBA program. Smiley will speak on "Four Renowned Universities as Teaching Partners in the Wine MBA: International Competencies at International Wine Professionals' Service." The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1209 L St., Sacramento, during the Unified Wine and Grape Symposium.
