Media are invited for a sneak peek at the new Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art, University of California, Davis. The museum will not open to the public until Sunday, Nov. 13. This preview is for media and invited guests only. Informal tours of the museum will occur after a short speakers’ program.

Directions
From I-80 West (from Sacramento), take the UC Davis exit. Turn right onto Old Davis Road and continue north. The museum is located on Old Davis Road between Hilgard Lane and Alumni Lane.
From I-80 East (from Bay Area), take the UC Davis exit. Turn left onto Old Davis Road and continue north. The museum is located on Old Davis Road between Hilgard Lane and Alumni Lane.
From Highway 113 South (from Woodland), take the I-80 east off-ramp toward Sacramento. Take the UC Davis exit near the end of the ramp and turn left onto Old Davis Road and continue north. The museum is located on Old Davis Road between Hilgard Lane and Alumni Lane.
Parking
The Manetti Shrem Museum is located on the southeast portion of the UC Davis campus. Closest parking is in the Gateway Parking Structure across from the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. Media may park in any legal parking space for free by placing their business card or media pass on their vehicle dashboard.
