Diane Amann, law professor and director of the law school’s new California International Law Center at King Hall, looks on as Clayborne Carson from Stanford University speaks at the center’s inauguration on Feb. 4. Carson is the director of the Martin Luther King Jr. Research and Education Institute at Stanford. UC Davis’ California International Law Center will build on the tradition of international law scholarship by cultivating faculty, student and alumni work in this area. It will also offer a speakers’ series and curriculum and career development services.
