Amy Oleynik, a program coordinator for student orientation, is on a summer adventure with her dad, Randy: They are biking across the country on high-wheels. This photo is from the online news organization Carson Now, which caught up with the Oleyniks in Carson City, Nevada, on Aug. 17. They began their journey five days earlier by dipping the rear wheels of their bikes in the Pacific Ocean at San Francisco. If all goes as planned, they will dip their front wheels in the Atlantic Ocean when they reach Boston in October. You can follow the father-daughter duo on Amy’s blog or on Facebook.
