Feb. 17 to 19, Tuesday to Thursday -- A UC Davis event exploring issues in the Asian Pacific Islander community will feature a panel discussion about racial profiling and civil rights after Sept. 11. The discussion, to begin at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in Young Hall 198, is part of Asian Pacific Islander Week, presented by the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association at the School of Law and others. The event will also include, all in King Hall's Moot Courtroom, a speech by Angela Oh of Oh & Barrera, who served with President Clinton's Initiative on Race, at noon Feb. 17; a session on a class action lawsuit alleging employment discrimination at noon Feb. 18; and a conversation on underrepresented communities at noon Feb. 19.
