THE DOWNLOAD: ‘Thought/Space,’ Plants for Bees

A tiny spot amid 5,300 acres can hold great meaning. It can be a place to find peace, lift spirits, pique curiosity or spark creativity. Thought/Space is a new video series from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, about the special places that staff, faculty and students have found at UC Davis. Putah Creek is Samuel Sandoval’s Thought/Space. It’s where the water resources professor can bike to collect his thoughts, take a breath and “feel peace” among the birds, breeze and water.

Goodbye and congrats

Grad Cap Contest

It’s officially commencement season, which means it’s also Grad Cap Contest season. Graduating members of the Class of 2022 can submit entries until June 13, with voting open June 15-17. More information and the complete rules are available online.
