A vibrant new mural adorns a wall in the courtyard of King Hall, the hoem of the UC Davis School of Law.
Co-created by Reza Harris ’19, the mural depicts Martin Luther King Jr., after whom King Hall is named, and the word “Dream.” That spray-painted word pays tribute to King’s famous 1963 “I Have a Dream” speech, Harris said, “and it is a message to the students here: You can look out the window while you are studying, and see a reminder of what your goals are.”
Harris collaborated on the mural with artist Eric Norberg. Fellow King Hall students helped paint the mural. The mural's progress and eventual debut is depicted in the video above by Jose Alfonso Perez of the School of Law.

Two Aggies sign with NFL teams
Two Aggies will be working to earn spots on NFL rosters after signing undrafted free agent contracts: Keelan Doss with his hometown Oakland Raiders and Mason Moe with the Philadelphia Eagles.
“He is off the charts,” said UC Davis head coach Dan Hawkins, regarding Doss as a player and person. “Keelan could walk into anyone's business right now and be a pro. He happens to be a professional football player.
“People want to play professional football, but can you be professional? Keelan is. He comes in early, leaves late. He studies the playbook, is dependable, takes care of business and is committed to being great.”
No UC Davis player in program history has more career receptions (312), receiving yards (4,069) or 100-yard games (19) than Doss, who also holds Division I program-high figures in total touchdowns (29), receiving touchdowns (28) and all-purpose yards (4,218).

Moe, an All-Big Sky honoree this past season, was UC Davis football's inaugural Buck Buchanan Award Watch List selection — an honor that is bestowed to the national defensive player of the year.
The Kaneohe, Hawaii, native anchored the Aggies' defense from the moment he arrived to campus in 2017, but it was his performance at Montana, which took place last season, that solidified his place on college football's national landscape as one of the best defensive talents in the nation.
UC Davis earned its inaugural victory in program history against Montana thanks to a Moe-led unit that prevented the Grizzlies from scoring a point in the second half. In that game, in front of a capacity crowd in Missoula, he recorded a game-high 13 total tackles, seven solo tackles, 3.5 sacks and five tackles for a loss (new Division I-era single-game records) and forced a fumble, which ultimately turned a seven-point advantage into a two-possession lead.
