“I’m absolutely thrilled for Adela and I know she will bring energy and dedication to her role as president of San Diego State University. She has been a dynamic leader and scholar during her time with UC Davis and has demonstrated a commitment to diversity and inclusion in a wealth of programs and services for students. I wish her all the best as she transitions to her new responsibilities with CSU. In the months ahead, we will announce plans about filling the vice chancellor role. In the meantime, please join me in congratulating Adela.”
