The county road at the western edge of campus was closed Sunday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision at the junction with Hutchison Drive. 

UC Davis Fire and Police Departments, and AMR ambulance services, responded to the incident, which occurred at 4:02 p.m. Four people were transported to hospital. 

UC Davis police issued a WarnMe notification advising drivers to avoid the area. The road reopened about 5:45 p.m.
