Carjacking Suspects Investigated

UC Davis police in collaboration with the Woodland Police Department are investigating two suspects in a carjacking that took place on campus March 15. The suspects, both juveniles, have been arrested on other charges but have not yet been charged in the UC Davis case.

On March 13, a UC Davis student was sitting in his car in a parking lot on Extension Center Drive when a suspect banged on the window and threatened him with a firearm. The suspect drove off in the victim’s car, a 2018 Dodge Challenger, followed by a second suspect in a white sedan.

The stolen car was recovered the following day by Woodland police.

In a separate case, UC Davis police have identified a suspect who allegedly brandished a gun on campus March 8, and a case has been submitted to the Yolo County District Attorney for an arrest warrant.

UC Davis and Woodland police continue to investigate all these cases. Anyone with information can contact UC Davis police at 530-752-1727.
