UC Davis continues to monitor the impacts of the Kincade and surrounding grass fires, including the current evacuation order for Bodega Marine Laboratory.
Air quality forecasts for Monday (Oct. 28) are “good” in Davis and Sacramento, on the Air Quality Index. The AQI is the approved system for use by all UC campuses, and decisions are made by using the UC Air Quality Matrix.
Classes will be held on Monday and the university will continue normal operations on the Davis and Sacramento campuses. Outdoor workers are impacted and will hear from their supervisors.
If you have been personally impacted by the fire, winds or smoke, please contact your professor or supervisor directly to make any arrangements necessary.
For more information about wildfire season impacts at UC Davis, please visit the Wildfire Season Weather Impacts website. UC Davis will continue monitoring the air quality, winds and power outages as the week continues and will provide updates if the situation changes.
