Support for a
successful transfer

Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) is a transfer preparation program with a mission to support and enhance a transfer culture for college students enrolled at our partner community colleges. We provide support that complements your college’s efforts and initiatives to increase the number of transfer ready students.

Important Dates

August 1: Start your application on August 1 for admission the following year.

September 1–30: Submit the TAG application via the UC Transfer Admission Planner.

October 1–March 2: Apply for financial aid at studentaid.gov or dream.csac.ca.gov.

October 1–November 30 :The application filing period is October 1–November 30 for admission the following year.

Students who just graduated high school and plan to attend a community college that is part of the UC Davis Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP), AvenueB and AvenueE are invited to participate in a free 3-day, 2-night summer residential intensive transfer preparation program.

Aggie Transfer Scholars Weekend
August 10-13th

Students attending a community college that is part of the UC Davis Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP), AvenueB and AvenueE are invited to participate in a free 4-day, 3-night summer residential intensive transfer preparation program.

AvenueB is designed to help community college transfer students smoothly transition to UC Davis, and ultimately, a career in the biological sciences. The program was developed by UC Davis and generous funding from Genentech in collaboration with Los Rios, Yuba, San Joaquin Delta, and Contra Costa Community College districts.

AvenueE is designed to help community college transfer students smoothly transition to UC Davis, and ultimately, a career in engineering or computer science. The program was developed by UC Davis and founding corporate partner, Chevron, in collaboration with Los Rios, Peralta, San Joaquin Delta, and Contra Costa Community College districts.

AvenueM is a community college to medical school pathway program that aims to reduce barriers to entry to medical and other healthcare careers. UC Davis School of Medicine will partner with three 4-year institutions – UC Davis, California State University (CSU), Sacramento, and Cal Poly Humboldt – and a network of community colleges feeding into them, to establish this robust educational ecosystem.
